I LOVE THESE COLORS!

Such good finds.  Chant to self: must learn to thrift, must attempt to thrift, WILL THRIFT!

After reading a great series of “How to Thrift” posts from the creative, gorgeous treasure hunting mama Jennie at Frecklewonder I decided to pop my head into a Goodwill and give thrifting an honest try.

Behold the goodies that emerged:

• a brand new tangerine and melon leather clutch, the perfect example of juicy spring color blocking!
• several bright and bold belts, all of which will add some colorful oomph to some basic pieces (I’m thinking white loose cotton shirts, dresses and cardigans). I love the gold chain detail on the red belt!

Not pictured are a brand new pair of low cut combat boots for a certain little sister’s upcoming birthday, a loose-fitting grey tee from Banana Republic, and a GLORIOUS floral print tunic that I can’t wait to pair with some dark skinny jeans and a thin belt.

I will definitely be trying my hand at thrifting again!
